Places

Carpentaria was a large land mass surround by five smaller islands that were within reach. If there were any other land masses in their dimension the people of Carpentaria did not have the power to sail far enough to find them. In the Collapse Era Carpentaria crumbled and split apart into many small islands.


The Dark Era
Back when everyone worshiped the same Deity, Carpentaria all fell under the rule of the same Emperor. Split into seven providences that were run by the seven Archdukes who all reported only to the Emperor.

Important Places of the Dark Era

  • Providences
    • Ibon, Eris, Pelgora, Cathavias, Anston, Ugaga and Lyto
  • Village of Burnside
    • A medium sized village consisting of human and elves in the providence of Cathavias. The Keeper of History first received their glove here.
  • The Lion’s Den Tavern
    • In the town of Heth in the northern providence of Ugaga, the Lion’s Den is the biggest tavern around. It services mostly Dwarfs but has accommodations for anyone will to pay. It is where the Keepers met before heading up to Keeper’s Stronghold
  • Keeper’s Stronghold
    • Inside of a magically protected mountain was the Keeper’s Stronghold, this mountain lay inside the Ugaga Providence. The most fortified place of the Dark Era only those with a glove could enter and survive. In the lowest level of the mountain’s labyrinth is the Knowledge Sphere, The Keeper of History.
  • City of Tyrovus
    • In the southern providence of Pelgora is the port city of Tyrovus. One of the largest port cities it was home to every race one could think of and trade of all kinda was abundance. It was also home of the Carpentaria’s largest slave auction every year. The Keeper of History met Ivor of Envoy here when he sailed in on his metal ship and learned of the many Deities in existence from him.
  • Citadel of Vatul
    • In the Capital City of Carpentaria the Citadel of Vatul is the most sacred place in the world. It’s architectural beauty was only rival by the Emperor’s Place. The Capital City does not truly belong to any providence but lays inside the borders of the Eris Providence. It was here that the High Priest of Vatul declared war on all of the Reforms in Carpentaria.

Dus Mundus Era
When the discovery of more than one God came to light Carpentaria went to war with itself. During the war two magical barriers split the land in half. Carpentaria to the East of the Barriers with three providences and keeping the same system of Emperor and Archdukes. To the West was Gallundeos run by Warlords numbering from seven to fifteen at any given time. Finally, right in between them was The Midway where The War of Dua Mundus raged on.

    • The Lion’s Den Tavern
      • In the town of Heth, the Lion’s Den Tavern is the best place you can stay. It is only just to the East of First Midway Barrier and sits very far North. The Keeper of History met Arcnite who had learned where the Seat of Power was hidden.
    • Court of Emperor Lorzo
      • In the Capital City of Carpentaria, in the Cathavias Providence is the Emperor Court. At one time Emperor Lorzo ruled over the lands to East of the Barrier, he was the last Emperpor of Carpentaria. The Keeper of History met The Unreliables here and left with them to find the High Lord of Decay’s Seat.
  • The Midway
    • The Midway is a strip of 30 miles between the First and Second Midway Barriers; they act as the dividing line between the countries of Carpentaria and Gallundoes. During the prime of the War of Dus Mundus before the Midway Barriers had been created Bliss the Wizard and Rhent the Assassin found the Keeper of History. They gained knowledge to help stop the war from the Keeper.
  • Gallundoes
    • Court of the Warlord Yereme
      • The Unreliables and The Keeper of History were captured by the Warlord Yereme when the entered his lands. The exact location of Yereme’s lands is unreliable because of the warring in the region. The Unreliables gained prestige by slaying Yereme and destroying his elite guard before escaping.
    • The Mountain of Pleasure
    • High Lord of Decay’s Seat

The Collapse Era
When the Lord of Decay’s Seat was destroyed Carpentaria went into collapse. Parts of land crumbled into the sea taking the people and their magics with it. Entire races of people disappeared in the blink of an eye. What was left of the land spread across the sea making up many little islands. Each island makes up its own governing rules and structure.
